Forevify Text Messages

How our SMS program works, who receives messages, and how to opt out.

What is the Forevify SMS program?

Forevify partners with senior-living communities to help families and residents stay connected through personalized music. The Forevify SMS program sends text messages to residents enrolled at a partner facility and to family members the facility has added to a resident's contact list, so they can receive song invitations, listen to songs created for their loved one, and reply with their own.

Who receives messages?

  • Residents at senior-living communities that have onboarded with Forevify and provided the resident's mobile number with consent.
  • Family members whose contact information has been added by the facility's activity director, with consent captured at the time the family contact is registered.

We do not message phone numbers that have not been added to a resident's account by facility staff.

How is opt-in captured?

Opt-in for Forevify SMS is captured at the time a resident or family contact is added to a Forevify-enabled facility:

  • The facility's activity director (or other authorized staff) collects consent from the resident, or the resident's authorized representative, as part of the facility's standard resident agreement and intake process.
  • When the resident's mobile number is entered into the Forevify admin portal, staff must affirmatively check a consent checkbox confirming that the resident (or authorized representative) has agreed to receive Forevify communications. The checkbox displays the following disclosure:
By entering this resident's phone number, I confirm that the resident or their authorized representative has agreed to receive Forevify communications, in accordance with our facility's resident agreement and our Service Agreement with Forevify. The resident will receive a welcome message and may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.

Forevify records who captured the consent and when (timestamp + staff identifier) for every enrolled phone number.

What messages will I receive?

You may receive any of the following:

  • Holiday song invitations — a few times per year, an invitation to record a personal message that becomes part of a song for someone you love.
  • Birthday song reminders — when a loved one's birthday is approaching, an invitation to contribute to a group song.
  • Song delivery notices — when a new song has been created for you or by you, a link to listen.
  • Reply prompts — a follow-up when family or facility staff sends you a song.

Typical frequency: 1–4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

How do I opt out?

You can stop receiving Forevify text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation, after which no further messages will be sent.

Privacy & data sharing

Forevify will not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS opt-in are not sold and are not shared with anyone outside our subcontractors in support services (e.g., the SMS delivery provider).
