Our Why
Kirk Was Always Moving
My father-in-law Kirk completed Ironman triathlons, ran 100-mile races, and crossed the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim.
Then dementia entered his life.
Conversations became harder. Stories arrived in fragments. Our family was searching for new ways to connect.
So we started making music.
We turned his words into an album, Running on the Trails.
When the Songs Played
Something unexpected happened.
Kirk smiled. He tapped his feet. He sang along.
